On October 1st we will have presentations from seven academics conducting cutting edge research in the area of performance excellence. This will be your opportunity to not only hear about the research first hand but to help shape the research itself to drive the greatest benefit for all BAR Members.
In the morning of the second day we will focus on organizational sustainability starting with a presentations from three experts in the areas of the "triple bottom-line" (financial, environmental, and social). An executive roundtable discussion will follow the presentations to help internalize the concepts of sustainability and discuss their connection to the Baldrige model and reaching the next level.
The afternoon will be action oriented. Since numerous BAR Members have indicated a high desire to find methods and processes for benchmarking and sharing of best practices among BAR Members we will discuss and develop action plans for making this a real and feasible project over the next year.
In addition, the Summit will include a presentation and discussion of the Netdocuments system and how to get the most out of your membership.
Updates and collaborative discussions on key research projects from the 2006 Bachelor Gulch Summit; Executive Round Table on Sustainability; and Best Practice Sharing and Benchmarking planning.
