Before coming to the Monfort Institute, Roger Maddocks led Worldwide Manufacturing Services at the Eastman Kodak Corporation. He had responsibility for six manufacturing divisions (2,700 employees) in eight countries. Among his duties, Roger led performance improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives. Now he is sharing his 40 years of experience with organizations that want to move into the realm of high performance (or notch it up even further).
Roger is all about strategic management and quality. He can help organizations work through their intricate and highly specialized performance improvement initiatives like none other. At the same time he gets a real kick out of teaching undergraduate students the ABCs of performance excellence.
He spent most of his career in the Global Manufacturing and Logistics organization of Kodak in Rochester, New York, and Windsor, Colorado. He has managed large organizations at the division, site, and worldwide flow levels.

- Make sure that your mission, vision and values (or the equivalent thereof) are effective, well communicated, and understood throughout your organization, serving the purpose for which they are intended.

- Break down barriers to teamwork within the organization and between employees and external stakeholders.
- Focus on the critical few goals and objectives – accomplish those and then move on to the next challenge.
- Select proven tools for improving your processes and organizational performance and stick with them – avoid the "program of the month syndrome" --- it can do a lot of damage.
