Michael Leonard is the director of executive education at the Monfort Institute. He oversees the marketing and administrative functions and collaborates with the director of the Institute on curriculum design and delivery.
He has facilitated workshops for companies including Samsung, Lockheed Martin, Honda, McDonald's, Western Union, and John Deere as a consultant, and has been teaching at the university level since 2002. He specializes in leader/manager training, communication, and marketing.
Michael has served as an executive professor of marketing at the University of Northern Colorado's Monfort College of Business – the first and only business school to receive the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award from the Office of the President of the United States. His responsibilities have included teaching marketing and communication courses and directing the college's integrated marketing initiatives.
He has worked in management, marketing, and public relations positions as an entrepreneur in Chicago, for an Internet company in New York City, and for a religious organization in New York City. Michael holds a Juris Doctor and a Bachelor's degree in Communications/Public Relations from Brigham Young University.
